Back to the event

The event, open to students and the general public, was designed to highlight inspiring career paths and encourage discussion about the place of women in different sectors. During the evening, participants were able to discover rich and motivating testimonials.

The round table brought together professionals with remarkable career paths, including Stéphanie Rostagny, a 1995 ESTACA graduate, VP-Director of Operations for the Telecoms, Media, Consumer Goods & Luxury, Energy & Resources and Distribution Business Units - Capgemini France . of the Telecoms, Media, Consumer Goods & Luxury Goods, Energy & Resources and Retail Business Units - Capgemini France.

"ESTACA gave me the foundations for my career, but it was in the corporate world that I became aware of the biases women face. Understanding these mechanisms has enabled me to move forward, and today I'd like to pass them on in my turn. Wealth comes from diversity: it's essential to encourage more women into the scientific sectors. Don't doubt yourself, dare!

The event was hosted by Pascal Landais, a lawyer from Laval, with the active participation of female students, including Sofia Ansari, a 2ᵉ year student at ESTACA.

"When I was asked to take part in this round table, I immediately accepted and seized the opportunity to meet women with inspiring backgrounds. Having studied in predominantly male classes (STI2D), I wanted to encourage girls to believe in themselves and find their place. Seeing these women succeed is a real source of motivation: if they can do it, why can't I? "

Towards more mixed engineering

ESTACA is committed to achieving greater gender diversity in its workforce. Today, women represent only 15-20% of students , depending on the year. This is a figure that the school is keen to increase to reflect the diversity expected on the job market .

The meeting was an opportunity to raise awareness, inspire and boost the confidence of female students in their career plans. ESTACA continues to be committed to promoting gender diversity, for example with the association "elles bougent" and "femmes et sciences".femmes et sciences", convinced that diversity is a driving force for innovation and excellence for its students and the companies that welcome them.

Inventing the mobilities of a sustainable world requires balanced representation with diverse profiles to encourage innovation and meet everyone's needs.
