USAIRE Student Awards 2023: "Paris Air Show 2035: your perspectives on the show".

The USAIRE Student Awards is an international competition, challenging students from around the world to reshape the future of the aerospace and defense industry. Disruptive innovations, new business models and geopolitical upheavals are transforming the aerospace and defense industry at an unprecedented pace. This year's competition theme for students was: "Paris Air Show 2035: your perspectives on the show".

Working alone or in pairs, students were initially asked to submit a 10-page essay on the subject. A jury then shortlisted 15 finalist teams from 112 applicants representing 33 nationalities and 46 universities, before the final selection was made by a high-level jury comprising 14 representatives from the aerospace industry.

"I take a lot of positives from this comprehensive and instructive experience. The subject required a lot of thought, a lot of research and interviews with professionals in the aeronautical sector. I appreciated being able to work on such a broad and complex subject. It was also an honor to be judged by recognized professionals in the field."
Rémi Janin, award-winning ESTACA student
"It was a great opportunity to take part in this competition. I learned a lot both writing the report and at the prize-giving ceremony, which is followed by a meal with top executives from the aeronautics industry. I strongly encourage all students with a passion for aerospace and defense subjects to seize this opportunity and take part in the 2024 edition!"
