Visit the Karunya Institute

ESTACA was honored to welcome a delegation from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, a new academic partner in India. Founded in 1986 and located in Coimbatore, India, Karunya University is a leading institution in engineering education. The university offers high-quality programs in engineering and technology, with specialties including aerospace, mechanical engineering, computer science and electronics. Karunya is particularly renowned for its excellence in aerospace engineering, offering cutting-edge training and research opportunities in this field.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the launch of our cooperation, with a particular focus on student and staff mobility, as well as opportunities for research collaboration.

Karunya's representatives were :

The delegation had the opportunity to exchange views with ESTACA's management and international relations office. They also met Jean-Christophe WALRICK and Nadir HAFS, teacher-researchers at ESTACA'Lab's Mechanics of Composite Structures and Environment Pole, for a presentation of ESTACA's research areas, followed by a tour of our laboratories.

This new destination will be open to students for academic mobility from the 2025-2026 academic year. Karunya also offers a summer program for 1A and 2A students, as well as project-based semesters. The Coaching Department can provide information for interested students.
