Keolis, official partner
On September 29, Keolis, one of the world leaders in shared mobility, and ESTACA signed a 3-year industrial partnership agreement to train and recruit the mobility engineers of tomorrow.
Intermodality is a major challenge for tomorrow's mobility. This partnership marks the consolidation of a strategic collaboration between the academic and industrial worlds, with the aim of forging closer links between the two institutions.
"This renewed long-term partnership between Estaca and Keolis reinforces our shared desire and pride in supporting young graduates who will develop and innovate for sustainable and inclusive mobility. We share the ambition of innovative, sustainable and safe modes of transport in response to passengers' expectations, and very much in line with those of our employees," emphasizes Lydie Jailler, Keolis Human Resources Director.
"By strengthening our collaboration with a major player in sustainable, connected everyday mobility like Keolis, we are offering our students concrete prospects for experience and employment in line with their training. At ESTACA, we can see the dynamism ofthese fields in the growing number of our students ", declares Denis Bertrand, Director of ESTACA.
Consolidating a long-standing partnership
Keolis and ESTACA have been working together for over 10 years in a variety of ways: involvement in training, running the Business Game "Le K Keolis" for students in the ecomobility specialization, participation in the corporate forum, conferences, recruitment of interns. Keolis is also involved with GuidedWays, running workshops and activities or opening its sites to visits: conference on contracts won by Keolis for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, visit to the SETRAM network, Urban Loop....
More support for students in the field
With this new agreement, Keolis and ESTACA are strengthening their concrete commitments to students around three main pillars:
- Educational support: themed conferences, professional testimonials, expert talks, visits to industrial sites, collaborative study projects,
- Support forengineering students' professional projects: internships, work-study programs, company forums, interview simulation workshops and HR coaching,
- Support for student life: partnerships with associations, event organization, participation in junior enterprise initiatives, sponsorship and equipment donations.
Recruitment opportunities to meet the growing need for mobile engineers
Nearly 30 ESTACA alumni are currently working for Keolis throughout France, particularly in the fields of maintenance, engineering and operations.
ESTACA and Keolis work together to identify needs in terms of trainees, recruitment and interventions, in order to define the relevance of the themes and educational projects proposed.
